Over 90 Years of Service

Banking Spectrum, Inc. was founded in 1984 as both an addition to and an outgrowth of the banking industry. Until its inception, the founding personnel and much of its product line had been a part of the Community Bankers Association of New York State. The Gold Book was started in the 1930s as a publication written by bankers for bankers; it was then known as the Manual of Floor Practice. Because of its gold binder, it became widely known as The Gold Book.

Banking Spectrum, initially started to assist the retail needs of savings banks in the areas of deposit services (regulatory and operational), pension services (IRAs, Keoghs, etc.) and training, subsequentially has expanded into all areas of consumer compliance, records retention, technical hotline support and consulting on strategic, regulatory, governance and business planning matters for banks, thrifts and credit unions.
